A charcoal coloured, grogged clay with a good plasticity and workability. The white of the grog showing through the dark clay colour gives this clay an interesting and different finish. Excellent body for big wheel thrown articles and sculptural work.

Fire this clay to 1140C for a rich dark, charcoal black colour.

Do not fire above 1140C.
