We recommend firing them to between 700°C - 800°C (Cone 018 and 015) in an oxidation atmosphere with good kiln ventilation (bungs out for the first 300°C).

Kiln rooms should be well ventilated while lustre firing is taking place.

Lustres are best when stored in a clean, dark and cool place.

How to use:
1. Be sure that the surface of your piece is free of dust, skin oils and lotions.

2. Always apply with a clean brush to prevent contamination. 

3. Apply one smooth and even coat.

4. The kiln should be clean, not overloaded & well-ventilated. 

5. Do not touch while wet and handle as little as possible to avoid smudging.

6. Fire the luster to between cone 018 & 015.

7. Precious metal lusters should not be used on surfaces that will come in contact with food or drink.

8. Not food safe. Not microwavable.
